Screen size
Screen size is given in inches. Size alone does not tell you sharpness. Look at resolution and pixel density too. Screen resolution, explained
Wall or shelf
Check whether the maker supplies a stand, a wall mount, or both, and where the power cable leaves the frame.
Power and batteries
Ask the maker whether the frame runs on a battery or needs to stay plugged in, and how long a charge lasts in their own testing. We do not quote battery figures.
Light in the room
A screen near a bright window can be hard to see. Try the spot at different times of day.
