Touch screens
A touch screen lets you swipe, pause, or change settings on the frame itself. Without one, a frame uses buttons, a remote, or a phone app. Check which the maker describes.
Video
Some frames play short videos. One frame maker's help pages say videos can be added with its phone app, but not with its web uploader. Check the maker's limits on length, sound, and file type.
Questions to ask
Can it play sound? Can sound be turned off? How are videos added? The maker's manual should say.
